What you have to do:
Visit the Telus World of Science Nature Exchange and sign up for the trading program. You do not need to be a Yearly Member, but you need a profile with the trading centre and provide them with your birthdate. If you are a member, it just makes it easier for them to create tour profile. This is for all ages.
The low down:
The nature exchange is a standing exhibit at Telus World of Science in Edmonton and has a really fun trading program where you bring in samples of nature for trade. Items like sea shells, special rocks, and other special or valuable items of nature for trade. A trade value is assigned to your item that goes into your bank of points. Items on display have an assigned value that you can spend your banked points on. But that is not the fun part, the fun part is the learning and they have you talk about the piece your brought in and discuss its origins and what it is. If you do not know, they will do research with you.
